Premiere Requirements:
National Premiere
- Eligible submissions are limited to documentary films.
- Films must not have premiered at any film festival or cinema prior to the festival's specified eligibility cutoff date.
- Previously submitted films are ineligible.
- The International Short Film Competition accepts documentaries under 40 minutes for Academy Award®, BAFTA, and BIFA accredited Grand Jury Award consideration.
- Feature documentaries compete in the International Competition for the Grand Jury Award.
- International First Feature Competition is open to debut documentary features.
