International Film Festival in India
FIAPF-accredited competitive film festival in India presenting feature films and documentaries in international selection programs.
Premiere Requirements:
National Premiere
- Eligible films for International Competition must be fiction feature-length productions of at least 72 minutes duration
- original language soundtrack and English subtitles.
- World Panorama accepts fiction and documentary features of at least 72 minutes, with English subtitles
- duration may be relaxed for curated packages at curatorial discretion.
- Exclusions apply to films presented in prior editions of the festival or previously screened in India, unless exceptionally approved by the Managing Director, NFD
- Selected films require delivery of DCP (preferred via online transfer with KDM for the festival period) or 35mm print, received by specified deadline; physical shipments must follow official freight instructions to the festival office.
