Oscar Qualifying Short Film Festival in the Netherlands
Internationally recognized short film festival in the Netherlands presenting competitive programs for short films. Academy Awards, BAFTA, and European Film Awards qualification applies to designated short film awards.
Premiere Requirements:
National Premiere
- Films must be short films no longer than 30 minutes, (co-)produced in geographical Europe
- feature clear-spoken English dialogue/commentary or no dialogue
- non-English dialogue requires English subtitles (Dutch dialogue subtitled post-selection if applicable).
- Previously submitted films are ineligible.
- DCP is the sole accepted screening format, unencrypted and theatre-tested; other formats require festival program department authorization.
- Entry requires completed online form and screener link (with password); no additional documentation permitted.
- Non-compliant films are ineligible for selection.
